Another week without the CBC, another baking spree. If the lockout keeps up much longer, we're going to need more flour.

Please, if you haven't already, write a letter to the editor (see last week's comment from Susan) or at least to your MP (and don't forget to cc us).

Wow cake looks great! That is so cool. And I can't quite figure out how you got all those cakes to the picket but good on ya. A pan of m&m cookie cake with a very hard to read lock out symbol on them was delivered to the 'peg line today. My flour is doing well but the sugar is another story. Oh and the Winnipeg crew hit Reg Alcock's annual picnic yesterday wearing huge foam locks around there necks. it is way cute. Check out Allison in Winnipeg's site (link from unplugged)

Hey, I noticed that those light brown cakes don't quite form a complete circle... I wonder what happens to all that excess delicious cake. Very mysterious... Anyway, way to go, all. Looks awesome.

I confess, little strips of banana blueberry cake had to be trimmed for the thing to fit on the board I had, which has since gone missing.
